The implant-supported crown treatment is usually carried out after three months, i.e. after the minimum time needed for osteointegration to take place (a process of fusing a bone with the surface of the implant). This procedure usually needs three visits that end with placing the crown onto the implant. This prosthetic replacement allows us to rebuild numerous single gaps resulting in high aesthetic effect and comfort.

This particular case presents the lack of an upper, first right incisor, an important front tooth decisive for the appearance of our smile and belonging to the so called aesthetic zone.

The procedure in this case requires particular attention to detail, selection of best appropriate techniques and materials. The first photo presents a white screw used for modeling the gum tissues so that the future crown could resemble the natural neck shape of a tooth (the line between a gum and a tooth). Here, porcelain built on zirconium-oxide has been chosen as the best material. Thanks to its bright colour the aesthetic effect is enhanced, the gum does not darken as is the case when porcelain is built on metal. The ultimate effect of a smile is made perfect with the colour and shape matching procedure.
